Real athletes. Real results.
"Nhat took me from open-water anxiety to finishing Cam Ranh in under 30 minutes. Nothing compares to training on the actual race course."
"I work 60-hour weeks. Nhat built a plan around that reality — not against it. First marathon in 3:51. Couldn't have done it without the structure."
"The Da Nang camp was transformative — riding Hai Van three days in a row with a national champion pacing you is something else entirely."
"As an expat in Saigon I had no idea where to swim or ride. Nhat solved all of it — the pool, the group rides, the race calendar."
"I learned to swim at 38 through Khỉ Biết Bơi. Six months later I crossed the finish line at Oceanman. Nhat makes the impossible feel obvious."
Five great reasons to train in Vietnam with Nhat.
- 01
A coach who lives the sport
Nhat is an active professional athlete, not a retired one. His methods are built on current personal experience and updated as he trains and races — you get elite insight, not nostalgia.
- 02
World-class conditions year-round
Warm weather guaranteed. Open-water venues that few training groups outside Asia ever access. Long, quiet roads for big ride days. The environment does half the work.
- 03
Elite coaching at a fraction of the cost
Vietnam's cost of living makes top-tier training affordable. Camps, nutrition, accommodation — significantly less than comparable programmes in Europe, Australia, or Japan.
- 04
The warmest welcome in Asia
Vietnamese and Saigonese people are famously hospitable. Expats and westerners find food, services, and social life exactly as they need it — friendly, easy, and genuinely comfortable.
- 05
A region worth exploring
Vietnam and greater Southeast Asia offer extraordinary culture, nature, and beaches beyond training hours. Your best race shape and the trip of a lifetime, in one plan.
Training facilities in Vietnam.
Two main hubs, both with year-round warm weather, world-class open water, and organised training groups that actually show up.
Sài Gòn · HCMC
50m outdoor pool at Sala Urban City. Weekly squad sessions. Open lap swimming year-round — no cold water excuses.
Flat riverside promenade and park circuits. Dawn running groups depart from Sala every Tuesday and Saturday.
400m athletics track at Sala Urban City. Lap sessions, interval work, and time trials in the heart of HCMC's most modern district.
VNG cycling club. Saigon Cycling Club. Saturday morning 60–100 km social rides with real pacelines — show up, clip in, roll.
Nearby Open Water
Within reach as a weekend escape — open water swimming south of Saigon.
2 hours by ferry or car. Calm bay, warm year-round. The easiest open water escape for HCMC-based athletes.
4 hours from Saigon. Wind-exposed coastline, ideal for building open-water resilience. The long-distance training ground.
Da Nang · Central Coast
Train on the exact May 2026 full-distance IRONMAN Vietnam route. Swim, bike, and run — course knowledge before race day.
Calm bay swimming from My Khe Beach, 25–28 °C. No wetsuit needed. Consistent conditions for threshold swim sets.
21 km climb, 5–10% gradient. Ocean on one side, jungle on the other. The ride that makes European cyclists question everything.
Flat seafront promenade, zero traffic. Perfect for marathon tempo work and brick runs off the bike during camp weeks.
The A·S·I·A Method.
Four pillars built around what time-poor working athletes actually need — and what training in Vietnam quietly delivers better than anywhere else in the world.
Adaptation
Train through tropical heat & humidity. The transferable advantage when you race anywhere.
Swim-first
Swimming is the limiter most triathletes never fix. We start where Nhat started.
Intensity over volume
For time-poor professionals. Built for working athletes — seven hours a week, race-ready.
Anchored in Asia
Training camps. Open water. Cost efficiency. Year-round weather. The geographic moat.
No off-the-shelf price tiers. Every plan is built around your race.
Tell us your target race, current training load, and what's not working. We'll come back inside two working days with the program that actually fits, the commercials for your specific situation, and an honest read on whether we're the right coach for the goal.
Tell us about your goals.
Fill out the inquiry form — we read every one. If SwimBikeRun Asia isn't the right fit (wrong distance, wrong timeline, wrong moment in your career) we'll say so and point you to who is. No pressure, no follow-up sequences.
